About Us

Custom RV Furniture is the premier RV furniture store serving Milford, IN, since 2018. Owner Dave Borkholder has more than 20 years in the industry and understands how RVs are manufactured. Dave can accommodate most styles of RV, from Class A motor coaches to the smallest Travel Trailers. With the recent boom in the RV industry, many people have found that trading their RV for a newer model may not be possible due to delays in delivery and the increased cost of ownership.

Custom RV can give your RV a new look with new furnishing, cabinetry, interior finishes, counters, pull-out drawers, closet remodels. And more at a competitive price. Dave’s motto is that if you can dream it, Custom RV can make it a reality. In most cases, design and installation can be done while you wait and we allow owners to stay with their rig during the installation process. Our Story

Dave Borkholder is the owner and operator of Custom RV Furniture and has been providing premier services to Milford, Indiana, and the surrounding communities since 2018. Woodworking has been a passion of Dave’s since the second grade and with a lifetime of experience, he seized the opportunity to purchase the business and enter the niche market of building cabinets exclusively for RV owners.

Here at Custom RV Furniture, we believe RVs should meet the needs of their unique owners, which is why our clients turn to our personalized services and excellent craftsmanship. Our custom-built cabinets are made to meet our client’s specifications as opposed to cookie-cutter products. Custom van builds, bathroom renovations, stone paneling, spray coating, and various furniture pieces are also available. We offer customized, hand-crafted cabinets and also utilize our talents to bring your existing cabinets back to life through refurbishment and repairs. For all things cabinetry, if you can dream it, Custom RV Furniture can make it possible!

Over the years, we have planted strong roots in the community and continue to build strong relationships with our customers. Our keen attention to detail and emphasis on a great customer experience has earned us an honorable reputation. Last spring we had Dave Borkholder, owner of Custom RV Furniture perform an extensive renovation of our 2014, 40 foot RV. This work involved removing/installing the carpet throughout the coach, removing a dishwasher (which had never been used) and replacing it with a new storage cabinet and new island work station, removing a free standing table and installing a fireplace in its place, building a beautiful new like cabinet across the room to house the same free standing table which also included a new computer workstation. He extended a number of our current drawers throughout the coach thus freeing up a number of cabinets which provides much needed additional storage and designed and built some made to order miscellaneous shelving for our bedroom. All aspects of this work has turned out to be of the highest quality! Dave is truly a master tradesman and his work reflects that quality. If you have a dream, Dave will work with you to make that dream come true. He is a pleasure to work with, completes the job at a very reasonable price and as a Harvest Host is very hospitable.
